ABSTRACT: Developing vocational training programs for green chemistry practices is essential for fostering environmentally sustainable chemical processes and industries. This study aimed to design effective training programs for green chemistry, assess their impact on student skills, and evaluate student satisfaction with the training. A survey design was selected to gather detailed insights from participants. The sample size included 180 students from various vocational programs focused on green chemistry. Purposive sampling ensured the selection of participants with exposure to green chemistry education. The case study was conducted at the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that the newly developed training programs significantly improved students' technical skills in sustainable chemical practices, enhanced their understanding of environmental impact reduction, and provided hands-on learning experiences. Students reported high levels of satisfaction with the training, appreciating the comprehensive and practical approach of the programs. It was recommended that vocational training institutions continuously update their green chemistry curricula to incorporate the latest advancements and provide ongoing professional development for instructors to maintain high standards of education.
